A Holistic Nutritionist
A First Generation Canadian
An Older Sister
An all seasons hiker
In love with fitness
A wonderfully flawed human being
Before studying to become a nutritionist, I graduated with a Diploma in General Arts & Science Diploma at Centennial College. After graduation I enrolled to York University for Communications and Environmental Studies. During my third year at York I faced an internal battle of “Where will this hard work bring me?” My motivation for life felt stagnant. I felt ashamed, disappointed in myself and unable to share these challenges I was facing with my loved ones. This took a tole on my personal relationships with my family, friends and my partner at the time, but most importantly how I felt about myself.
So I took a leap.
I ignored what I thought I should do and decided not to complete my degree at York University and instead enrolled in the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. I've struggled with my weight and body image my entire life and my love affair with fitness began as I also started to build a healthy relationship with food. I decided I wanted to help empower others in making choices that had a positive impact on their health and happiness. I have helped clients recover from metabolic damage, I’ve worked with many individuals to get to their desired body weight I have also worked with restoring the intestinal integrity and rebalancing hormones for post pregnancy and menopausal women. Working as a nutritionist has been incredibly rewarding. I enjoy teaching people how to use food as nourishment and developing that communication with their bodies.
I believe in working hard but also allowing yourself to participate in the many experiences life has to offer you. I am a nutritionist, fitness enthusiast, daughter, sister, friend, queen of the dance floor, writer, child of God & human being. I actively practice letting go of what I should do and take ownership of what I can do with where I am and what I have.
So welcome to my journey, let’s talk about how I can help you with yours.
